Franklin's baptism

Franklin was baptised by Bishop Roberts.  He saw our church and felt drawn to it. When he saw the sisters by the church he asked them about Jesus. Bishop Roberts served his mission in the Netherlands when I did. He married a sister missionary from the Netherlands.

This is Franklin with Sister Moses and Rich. The ward mission leader struggled to get a musical number for the baptism. When Franklin returned to the chapel after his baptism, the mission leader asked everyone to come to the front of the chapel to sing a song to Franklin. We then sang "I am a child of God". Franklin put his face in his hands and cried.
