Waterbus to Rotterdam

This is the waterbus bound for Rotterdam. You can park your bike in the rear of the boat. There is seating inside the cabin. We were taking the waterbus to Rotterdam for a Zone outing at the Euromast.

We stayed at the rear of the boat to enjoy the sun. We stopped at Ambacht and the sisters boarded.

There was lots of boat traffic on the river. The boats have a cabin for the captain and his family. Notice this boat has a car and pleasure boat on the back.

This is the Erasmus Bridge.

The Erasums bridge is an engineering wonder. As you enter Rotterdam, you can see the tower amoung the sky scrapers. It is as tall or taller than many of the sky scrapers.

This is a smaller bridge by Albaserdam.

This is the large bridge which you must cross to go north. The next bridge over this river is an hour east. This is also the bridge that had the draw bridge portion up one day when we were headed North. The draw bridge is located on the side of the bridge before the suspension portion.
